Brew Day

Did two 5 gallon batches today.  Blonde Ale recipe from the latest BYO magazine and an ESB.
Started at 8 AM and cleaned up during halftime of the Giants game. (Giants Win!!!)

Alt Ale is in kegerator #2.  Recipe is as follows:
8.5 lbs. 2-Row
2 lbs.     Vienna
.5 lb.      Crystal 10
1 lb         Corn Sugar
.5 oz        Northern Brewer  60
.5  oz       Sterling   30
1.0 oz      Mt Hood 15
Nottingham dry yeast
Mash at 152.  Batch Sparge

Not thrilled with this one.  I think the corn sugar was a mistake. Has a slightly sweet taste with a hint of banana???  I might try dry-hopping it to give it a bit more bite.. OK, just not great.
